For most of my life, I struggled with my health.

I saw practitioner after practitioner.
Collected opinions. Protocols. Plans.
And at one point, I was taking over 30 supplements a day.

With very little relief.

There was a season where I thought I was finally “better enough.”
So I stopped a medication - too quickly - and my body crashed.

Hard.

I became sicker than I’d ever been.
Physically and emotionally.

That’s when the diagnoses started stacking up: thyroid disease, insomnia, restless legs… alongside anxiety and depression that just wouldn’t lift.

It felt like rock bottom.

Desperate to heal, I doubled down.
New practitioner. New protocol. Completely overhauled my diet.

Hey, I’m Kate!

At first, I improved.
I even healed my thyroid.

But then I got sick again … this time with significant nutrient deficiencies.

And in 2016, I had to face something I didn’t want to see:

I was deep in orthorexia.
Terrified of certain foods.
Rigid. Hyper-vigilant. Convinced I was doing everything “right.”

I couldn’t believe that what once helped me heal was now keeping me stuck.

There was so much grief in that realization.

Over time, through deep personal work, professional training, and slowly untangling fear from health - I found my way back to steadiness.

Not perfection.
Not extreme control.
But something far more sustainable with an understanding of what health truly means.

And I often think…I wish I had someone like me back then.

That’s why I created this program.

I bring together my professional background as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner© (FDN-P), Mind Body Eating Coach and extensive personal experiences as I walk along this journey with you in my new program: FREE to Eat.
